Chief Executive Officer
Girl Scouts of Alaska announces a search partnership with Evergreen Executive Source, LLC to identify candidates and advise on selection of a new CEO. Evergreen is a retained search firm with depth of experience in nonprofit executive sourcing and selection, and has conducted searches nationwide for over a decade serving the interests of Girl Scout councils across the entire country. All information provided to Evergreen will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
The CEO will act in partnership with the Board of Directors to enhance the outcomes of all council functions to be one of the nation’s leaders in membership services and innovation. The CEO will direct the corporate strategic plan through the formulation and implementation of short to long range objectives and actions needed to achieve the Council’s goals. In addition, the CEO will ensure that pluralism is a core value within the Council’s activities and functions, promoting opportunities for participation in every aspect of Girl Scouting.

Customer Service and Retail Specialist -
The Customer Service and Retail Specialist will work in the council store, provide prompt, courteous service to both internal and external customers, manage the council store inventory and complete other assigned projects in a timely fashion. Our store is open between the hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday-Friday so this position will typically be scheduled between these hours, including time before and/or after to do opening and closing duties. Limited weekend hours may be required from time to time.

- After School Series Program Specialist - Matanuska Susitna Valley If you are committed to making a difference, seek work with lasting impact and want to help build girls of courage, confidence and character who make Alaska and the world a better place, Girl Scouts of Alaska is hiring an After School Series Program Specialist. Our ASP Program Specialists are responsible for developing and implementing after school programming for girl membership based on the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. This is a part-time position. The Program Specialist will work 5-6 hours a week over 3 days between the hours of 3:00-5:30pm. The position is located in the Matanuska Susitna Valley and will run programs in both Palmer and Wasilla schools. The pay for this position starts at $10 per hour.
