    An Accounting Assistant and Inventory Specialist supports the Manager/Director of Finance and Operations with bookkeeping functions, completing bi-montly payroll, accounts payable, cash receipts, and bank deposits. This position will also be the liasion and support for the council store, managing inventory and working in the store for set hours, as well as providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.

  • Membership Specialist - Anchorage
  • If you are committed to making a difference, seek work with lasting impact and want to help build girls of courage, confidence and character who make Alaska and the world a better place, Girl Scouts of Alaska is hiring a Membership Specialist for the Anchorage area.

    Under the guidance of the Membership Director, the Membership Specialist develops, retains, and increases girl/adult membership in assigned areas and/or for assigned demographic group(s); recruits and provides ongoing support to volunteers; assists in developing and implementing plans for membership growth expansion in all markets; represents and extends Girl Scouting in the community through presentations, collaborative efforts, local marketing, and networking; and ensures the Girl Scout Leadership Experience is accessible within assigned area. Position involves travel on a daily basis throughout your assigned geographic area.

  • After School Series Program Specialist - Matanuska Susitna Valley
  • If you are committed to making a difference, seek work with lasting impact and want to help build girls of courage, confidence and character who make Alaska and the world a better place, Girl Scouts of Alaska is hiring an After School Series Program Specialist. Our ASP Program Specialists are responsible for developing and implementing after school programming for girl membership based on the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. This is a part-time position. The Program Specialist will work 5-6 hours a week over 3 days between the hours of 3:00-5:30pm. The position is located in the Matanuska Susitna Valley and will run programs in both Palmer and Wasilla schools.  The pay for this position starts at $10 per hour.
