Who can join?

Girl Scouts is for every girl, everywhere. Girl Scouts welcomes girls of all religions nationalities, economic backgrounds and abilities. Girls in kindergarten through grade 12 who have made the Girl Scout Promise, accepted the Girl Scout Law, and paid the annual Membership Dues*, can join.

Any adult who accepts the organization’s principles and beliefs and pays Annual or Lifetime Membership Dues, can join.

How much does it cost?

The Annual Membership Dues for all members to join Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) is $12 per year.  This money is transferred directly to our National Office to support the stellar programming materials and support to councils.

*To ensure that all girls can participate in Girl Scouting, financial assistance is available. Please speak with your Member Service Specialist.
