Encampment

Encampment 2019 is May 30 - June 2

Encampment is an all-girl world... Created by you! Hundreds of girls and troops from communities across Alaska will come together for 4 days and 3 nights at the Palmer Fairgrounds.

This year Encampment will be bigger and better than ever as we extend the invitation to attend to all registered Girl Scouts in grades K-12!

Daisies and Brownies have the option of staying the whole weekend or just for the day on Saturday.

Registration is now closed.  To make a change to an existing registration, please email encampment@girlscoutsalaska.org

Earn your way to Encampment

Girl Scout troops will earn Encampment credits for both the 2018 Fall Product Program and the 2019 Cookie Program. These credits can be used toward paying for your Encampment!

  • Troops that participate in the Fall Product Program earn 15 cents per item (on the road system)/20 cents per item (off the road system)
  • Troops that participate in the Cookie Program earn 10 cents per box (on the road system)/15 cents per box (off the road system)
  • Troops that participate in both programs can used the combined credits
  • A troop receives credit for all boxes sold by the troop, whether of not all girls attend Encampment
  • If an individual girl is attending with a different troop and is taking the place of a girl in that troop who is not attending, her cookie credits will not transfer
  • If an individual girl is attending in addition to the troop (meaning 100% of the troop is attending), the girl's individual cookie credits can be added to the troop's total.

Encampment credits will be calculated by council staff and deducted from your invoice.
