Why Girl Scouts should attend PHENOM 2023, from the perspective of a GSAK volunteer

Hey Girl Scout! You are part of something really big. One of the best ways to experience this for yourself is to attend PHENOM, the GSUSA 2023 National Convention July 20-22, 2023, at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. It will be truly phenomenal--a three-day celebration of Girl Scouts.

Once every three years, Girl Scouts USA (GSUSA) chooses a location to hold its National Convention in conjunction with the National Council Session (the meeting of the Girl Scout National Board of Directors and delegates from every council). GSUSA chooses a theme and goes all-out, planning amazing activities for girls and adults. You'll hear presentations and performances from incredibly inspiring women and girls, meet the GSUSA Young Women of Distinction (top Gold Award earners), participate in a wide range of motivating programs and workshops, and explore the Expo Hall where you can try all kinds of hands-on activities and discover great resources for all Girl Scouts. And you'll share all this amazingness with literally thousands of your Girl Scout sisters from all over the USA.

It's hard to describe the instant connection you'll feel with everyone you meet. We're united by the Girl Scout Law and all of our shared Girl Scout traditions, and you can really feel it. You'll come home energized and eager for your next Girl Scout adventure.

Please don't miss this opportunity--check out the GSUSA Convention page at and our Council-specific page at for more information, and contact if you have questions.

And start making SWAPS--you'll want to bring a lot of them!
