Make your community a better place
It all starts here. Juniors team up with fellow Girl Scouts to explore their community, discover a need or issue they care about, and work together to address it. It’s a chance to create a plan and make an impact on the community they live in.
You can become a Bronze Award Girl Scout if you:
- Are in fourth or fifth grade
- Are a registered Girl Scout Junior
- Have completed a Junior Leadership Award or Junior Journey

Timeline
- Final reports must be submitted before September 30th, after the girls' 5th-grade year.
- We review all reports received by the second Monday of the month by the end of the month. Those received after the second Monday will be reviewed before the end of next month.
Receiving your award
- After you submit the troop's final report, the council will review it. The council will then send you a Bronze Authorization to Purchase letter that you must show before purchasing Bronze Pins.
- Council does not host a formal recognition of Bronze Award recivers. Talk with your troop about how you want to recognize these girls.
