April is Girl Scout Volunteer Appreciation Month! Do you know a volunteer who deserves some recognition? Send a thank you e-card to the volunteer in your life, or tune in for the six volunteer gift basket drawings happening throughout the month.
Looking for a way to thank the volunteer in your life?
Send them an e-card with a personalized message! Just select your card below to get started.
If your Girl Scout would like to write an appreciation card to her Girl Scout volunteers, choose from these cards. She can fill it in and give it directly to her favorite volunteers. Maybe the troop cookie parent was super helpful or one of the troop co-leaders made your Girl Scout feel confident enough to try something new. These fill-in cards will help your Girl Scout say thank you!
April is Volunteer Appreciation Month
While a month is hardly long enough to show our gratitude for all that you do, we want to show our volunteers that we see, recognize, and appreciate you. Volunteers are the heart and soul of Girl Scouts. We could not offer the programs we do without our wonderful volunteers. Thank you for lending your energy, talent, and time to the girls.
GSUSA Awards
GSAK relies on a network of 1,500 dedicated volunteers to lead troops, chaperone events, coach LEGO robotics teams, and lead Women of Science & Technology Day workshops – and that’s just the tip of the iceberg!
We recognize our talented volunteers’ dedication and commitment and believe it is important to honor exemplary service and commitment to Girl Scouts of Alaska and Alaska’s girls, which is why we accept award nominations at any time.
Awards are presented each year at service unit meetings, and/or other appropriate venues. Detailed descriptions of awards and nomination forms coming soon.
