Troop 375 invites Girl Scout troops to join us for a classic, hands-on World Thinking Day celebration on January 31.
This “old school” World Thinking Day event will feature troops selecting a country and sharing information about its language, culture, and traditions. Each participating troop is asked to represent their chosen country with:
A simple craft or activity
A small “taste” of a food or drink
Cultural or educational information to share with visitors
In addition, Anchorage School District language immersion programs will be joining us to showcase the seven languages currently being studied by local students, adding an exciting learning opportunity for girls and adults alike.
By hosting this event early, troops will be able to complete several 2026 World Thinking Day badge steps while still having time to continue badge work within their troop and celebrate again on February 22, 2026, World Thinking Day.
Troops should bring their own tables, and we are also collecting non-perishable food items as a donation for attending.
Troops must sign up for a country and provide contact information using the link below.
