Girl Scouts is more important today than ever. Girls need a safe space to gain confidence, explore new horizons, take appropriate risks, and learn from their experiences. They deserve a place to form lifelong friendships and develop healthy relationships. Events Happening This Month:
Double Shovel Cider Company
For a limited time Double Shovel will be offering cider flights paired with Girl Scout Cookies at their Anchorage location. Stay tuned for exacly when you should plan your visit.
What are Girl Scouts Doing?
Girl Scouts are particiapting in amazing programs all month long. At our Paws-itive Impact event girls will learn about service dogs and how animals help people. Our youngest girls will learn the basics of hiking as part of our Young Explorer's Trek program while our older girls attending Pathfinders Expedition will learn to navigate through orienteering later in the month.
On Earth Day all Girl Scouts are invited to our Tree Promise events where they learn about the trees in their communities and the importance of them. In addition to attending our council programs Girl Scouts are busy with their troops as they work on community service projects, earn badges, and discover new skills.
