Open to ALL girls grades K-12
Join us at Potter Marsh to celebrate the return of migrating birds
to Alaska! Take a walk down the boardwalk and learn about the many
feathered friends from an expert at Alaska Fish and Game. Practice
using bird guides and binoculars, and get an up-close look at an
eagle’s nest with a spotting scope! Learn about the tools birders use
and find out how you can contribute to global research by watching for
birds near you!
All necessary materials will be provided
at this event. Bathrooms will only be available at the beginning and
end of the program, please plan accordingly. This entire event will be
outdoors, rain or shine. In the event of unsafe weather, this event
will be postponed to Sunday, April 27th
