Description: Tea parties hold a special place in Girl Scout and women's history. Over the years, women have held tea parties to connect and discuss important issues like civil rights and women's suffrage (right to vote). Juliette Gordon Lowe saw tremendous value in these gatherings of women and held a tea party at her home in Savannah that would later become known as the first Girl Scout meeting. Join us for Indigo Tea Lounge's signature tea service to celebrate this time-honored ceremony's place in the history of our movement.
